POLICE are appealing for witnesses to come forward following a serious collision in Northolt at 8.30pm on Monday night.
A 34-year-old female pedestrian was struck by a blue Honda Jazz at the junction of Ruislip Road and Kensington Road..
The woman was taken to hospital for treatment to a severe head injury. Her family has been notified and are with her at the hospital.
The driver stopped at the scene.

Det Sgt Cheryl Frost said: “There were a number of vehicles and people in the area at the time who will have seen something.
“Any information, no matter how insignificant it may seem, could provide a small piece of the sequence of events we are piecing together of the circumstances that led to her being seriously injured.” No arrests have been made.
