GREENFORD is set to bring joy to its young residents with circus skills to celebrate National Play Day (writes T'Kesha George).
Greenford and Perivale Extended Schools Partnership and Ealing Council Play Service will offer a free circus workshop tomorrow at Ravenor Park.
Sarah Jay, the partnership coordinator for Greenford and Perivale Extended Schools, said: “After the success of circus skills at Greenford carnival which Extended Schools sponsored, we thought this would be a great idea for the children in the local area.
“Unfortunately, Greenford doesn’t have a free play centre, unlike other areas of the borough, but we certainly don’t want to stop our kids from playing, which is such an important part of the growing up.”
The workshops will be running from 9.30am - 2.30pm.
