FEARS are growing for the safety of a Polish man who disappeared in June.

Dawid Mizk, 31, left the flat he shared with friends in West Ealing at around 9pm on Sunday, June 8, without telling his housemates where he was going.

No-one has since heard from the electrician, no money has been taken out from his bank account, his mobile has gone dead, and no clothes are missing from his room.

It is known Dawid had been at The Windmill pub, in High Street, Acton, earlier in the evening and watched Poland lose 2-0 to Germany in their opening Euro 2008 match.

He has lived in the UK for a year, and speaks broken English. He is also known by the nicknames Slesz or Jezus.

Detective Inspector Phil Easton, of Ealing Police’s missing person unit, said: "We are very keen to speak to anyone who was at The Windmill pub in Acton for the Germany V Poland match and saw Dawid or anyone who has seen him since June 8.

“It is now almost two months since he has been seen and we are growing increasingly concerned for his welfare."

He was last seen wearing a red t-shirt and grey shorts, as shown in the picture, which featured in a special Polish edition of The Sun and was taken on the night he disappeared.

He is white, around 5ft 9ins tall, with short brown hair, brown eyes, and a tattoo of a smiling blue mask on his shoulder.

Anyone with information can contact Ealing Police’s Missing Persons Unit on 020 8246 1040, or the missing people helpline on 0500 700 700.
