TWO homeless people were arrested yesterday after being caught with a trolley full of stolen road signs.

The pair were stopped in Kensington Road, Northolt, at around 3pm by police officers on a routine patrol.

When the cops looked at what was in the trolley they discovered several signs, which are believed to have been stolen from the A40, and are worth around £1,500 as scrap metal.

A 41-year-old woman and 38-year-old man were both arrested and are currently being held at Acton Police Station.
