ABANDONED puppies have always been easy to re-home, but what about the older dogs?
These are the far sadder cases.
Cinders and Orbi are waiting for a home together at Dogs Trust in Harefield.
The two older dogs have been together for most of their lives, but sadly, their owner had to go into hospital, and there was no-one left to look after them.
Cinders is a 13 year-old cross breed.
She is a lovely well-mannered older lady, who has plenty of life left in her, but she is looking for a nice quiet home, with no children, so she can peacefully live out her golden years.
Cinders can't bear to be parted from Orbie, a 13 year-old Yorkie cross breed. Orbie is very loving once he gets to know you, and loves plenty of cuddles. Orbi isn't too bothered by toys, but he loves his food and treats.
He also can't bear to be parted from Cinders, so the two need a loving home where they can live out the last few years of their lives together.
As they are older dogs, the Dogs Trust will pay for all vet bills (excluding routine vaccinations, flea treatment and worming), on the agreement that their new owners pay the first £7.50 of each consultation.
