THE London Gala Orchestra will perform alongside Chinese "erhu" player Liu Xiaobing on Wednesday, July 1, in Ealing.
The work is a new creation for nine soloists, choir, orchestra and solo "erhu" and has been composed by blind Japanese composer Takao Kambe as a dedication to 4,000 years of Chinese history.
The concert will also feature Mozart's choral work, Ave Verum Corpus, and the Clarinet Concerto.
The performance is at 7.30pm at St Barnabas Church in Pitshanger Lane, W5. Tickets are £15 (£10 in advance online). www.stephenelleryconductor.co.uk
