POLICE are appealing for help in identifying a man following an assault on a Transport for London inspector in Ealing.
The incident occurred on Wednesday, January 7, at about 12:20pm on a 207 bus in Uxbridge Road, Hanwell, where the victim, a 32-year-old man, was attacked after asking to check a ticket.
He was grabbed by the suspect who then threw several punches at him.
He sustained scratches to his arm and soreness to his face but did not require hospital treatment.
The wanted man is described as a Somali, about 5ft 8in, aged 35-40 years, of slim build and wearing a denim jacket.
