A HANWELL kebab shop has been the unlikely venue for filming this week of a new British film starring Paul Bettany and a star of The Bourne Ultimatum.
There For Me is set in North London and follows the fortunes of two couples struggling to come to terms with their relationships.
Bettany, who has starred in Wimbledon and The Da Vinci Code, plays a former boxer confined to a wheelchair after a stroke.
Filming is happening in the Hanwell First Choice cafe on Boston Road, although it has been rebranded The Broadway Cafe for the filming which is continuing all week.
The film was written by and stars Doraly Williams and Dan Fredenburgh, who also had a part in the latest Bourne epic, with Olivia Williams (The Sixth Sense and X-Men: The Last Stand) completing the ensemble cast.
BAFTA award winning Sallie Aprahamian is directing the low-budget independent production.
