FEATHERSTONE Primary School pupils in Southall will observe Remembrance Day next Monday.
The school has a war memorial unveiled in 1921 to commemorate the 221 pupils from Featherstone Boys' School who died fighting in World War One,
Pupils will stand for the two minutes’ silence, listen to the Last Post and lay poppies and wreaths at the foot of the memorial.
To commemorate 100 years since the end of hostilities, pupils are making 100 poppies from wire and plastic bottles to place around the memorial.
