A MAN has been arrested in connection with the murder of a 26-year-old from Acton in September.
The man, in his early 20s, was arrested in west London on Friday, October 5, following the shooting of Daniel Denis in his car, in Brassie Avenue, Acton.
On Tuesday, September 18, the night Mr Denis was murdered, neighbours reported hearing four shots at about 10.30pm.
Police believe Mr Denis was followed in his car by another vehicle, as he pulled off Old Oak Common Lane.
It is thought the occupants of the second car opened fire, when they pulled level with their victim's black BMW, at the junction of Brassie Avenue and St Andrew's Road.
Mr Denis was just a few hundred metres from his home in Erconwald Street, when he was shot.
The man arrested in connection with the shooting has been released on police bail until December.
