Leading the way as the world's most authentic Marilyn Monroe lookalike would be a tall order for some, but this woman take it all in her stride.

Coined as the world's best Marilyn Monroe lookalike, Suzie has been flown all across the world to perform and entertain in the place of the great 50s film star and sex symbol.

Suzie, who lives in south London, said: "I've been to every single country and I've been all over the world.

"It's thanks to her legend, she's just so big. No matter where you go in the world, everyone knows who she is."

Diamonds really are this girls best friend and when she's not jet setting the globe Suzie can be found at auction houses wearing Marilyn's original clothing or performing up and down the country.

One of the most popular requests is for Suzie to perform 'happy birthday' tributes.

Refusing to say 'bye bye baby', Suzie has been safely able to continue sending birthday wishes despite the pandemic.

She said: "Last week I was hired to jump out of a birthday cake on this guy's driveway in Nottinghill.

"It was quite weird, because I can't go near anyone because of covid, so when he wanted a picture I had to put my mask on."

Suzie can also record videos and messages as well as attend events in the town - could you see this legendary Marilyn popping out of a birthday cake on your driveway?

Proving that blondes really do have more fun, Suzie has followed a strict beauty routine to maintain her Marilyn-inspired looks.

From bleaching and curling her hair to ensuring she forks out for the best lashes, it's a full-time job keeping up appearances as the best Marilyn impersonator in the world.

Being a Marilyn lookalike for 23-years, Suzie said: "My beauty routine is high maintenance.

"I also have to work out every day. People assume Marilyn was curvy but she was curvy in the right places and always worked out with weights so I do the same."

Although Monroe may be dead, that hasn't stopped the odd person from mistaking Suzie, from Canada Water, in the street.

She laughed: "One time I was in Dubai and a guy that worked at a hotel opened the door and he said 'Marilyn Monroe I love your films!'

"I played along because I assumed he realised I was a lookalike, because obviously she's not alive.

"He asked me if I had any more films coming out and I thought he was winding me up.

"But at the end of the day, my client said to me that he genuinely believed I was Marilyn Monroe, he didn't realise that she was dead.

"I felt so embarrassed, he asked me for my autograph and I had to laugh and say I'd give it to him tomorrow!"

Starting her career as a Marilyn Monroe lookalike during college, after a friend said she looked like the icon, Suzie's first job was on set for a commercial with Naomi Campbell.

A natural in the spotlight, Suzie didn't feel intimidated beside the global supermodel and instead was her charming and chatty self.

Suzie said: "We were told not to talk to Naomi Campbell, but I felt quite comfortable so just started talking to her anyway.

After making a stellar impression, Suzie was given a £4,000 custom-made dress and all of the hair products from the shoot.

She laughed: "I was so naive back then I just walked up to the client and said I really love this dress and I don't have any money - can I keep this one?"

Usually not the "done thing" the designer told the production team to put the dress on the bill as he'd love Suzie to have it.

From her first appearance as Marilyn, life has just got bigger and crazier for Suzie.

Rubbing shoulders with A-lister's has now become just another part of her job. She has gone on to perform personal Happy Birthday tributes for Sir Richard Branson, Sir Stirling Moss and Eva Longoria - to name but a few.

She said: "It’s been incredible working alongside these people.

"Eva longoria was amazing, I sang her happy birthday in the dorchester hotel and she loved it!"

Suzie also met and sang to Professor Steven Hawkings, something she says she was "totally amazed by".

Later, she starred next to Eddie Redmayne as Marilyn Monroe in the Theory of Everything, the 2014 film about Hawkings' life.

Internationally recognised and acknowledged as a leader in her field she was recently cast to portray Marilyn in the Hollywood blockbuster BladeRunner 2049 alongside Ryan Gosling and Harrison Ford.

She said: "It doesn't feel like work, it's such an amazing way to earn a living."

Discussing all of the controversies surrounding celebrities and fellow lookalikes in the field have gone through, Suzie said:

"I'd rather be dead than alive.

"I'm definitely glad I'm a dead lookalike rather than an alive one.

"I've been around celebrities where the public don't love them anymore, take Harry and Meghan. But with Marilyn she's constantly loved, she can never do anything wrong.

"She's one of the greats, she's loved like Elvis."

Hired to be the official Marilyn Monroe lookalike model for the 2016 Marilyn Monroe world tour for Auction House Juliens, Suzie modelled the dresses and items worn and owned by Marilyn Monroe herself -  from the collection of The Marilyn Monroe Estate and David Gainsborough Roberts.

Suzie explained: "I've worn most of her original clothing so I've really been as close to her as you could possibly get."

Travelling the world to perform for A-list clients and blue chip corporations, Suzie was also the Winner of the 2017 Best Actress at the Reel Awards lookalike Oscars in Las Vegas.
