AN attacker who fatally stabbed a 26-year-old man near West Ealing station has been convicted of murder.
Ismail Yusuf, 20, of Hanger Lane, was found guilty on Friday (30) at Croydon Crown Court of the murder of Mehran Heydari.
Police were called in the early hours in November 2019 to reports of an injured man outside the station in Drayton Green Road.
Mehran was found in a vehicle suffering from a stab wound. He died a short time later.
A witness said he had been at a window which looked out on to the pavement in Avenue Road.
He heard loud voices like a fight and saw a male in the road with another on top of him.

He could see an arm going up and down in a stabbing motion three or four times. The assailant then ran away.
The victim got into his car and tried to drive away before crashing into another vehicle.
Using CCTV, detectives identified Yusuf, who eventually attended a police station the following month when he was arrested. He was charged with murder and remanded in custody.
He will appear at Croydon Crown Court for sentencing next Tuesday (4).
Det Sgt Brian Jones said: "Yusuf is an incredibly dangerous individual and I have no doubt the streets are a safer place now he is behind bars.”
