One in hospital after Greenford blaze
FIRE crews tackled a blaze at a flat in Oldfield Lane South, Greenford, this morning (9).
Part of the first and second floor was damaged and one man was taken to hospital suffering from the effects of smoke. Another two were treated at the scene.
The brigade was called at 9.50 and the fire was under control by 11.24. Four fire engines and around 25 crew from Southall, Ealing, Northolt and Wembley attended.
The cause is under investigation.
