FOUR fire engines and around 25 crew were called to a restaurant blaze on The Green, Ealing, last night (19).
Part of the ground floor was damaged and seven people had left the flats above the restaurant before the brigade arrived. There were no reports of any injuries.
The alarm was raised at 10.32 and the fire was under control by 11.09. Crews from Ealing, Acton, Southall and Chiswick attended.
The fire is believed to have been caused by a hot plate that was accidentally turned on.
