PERMISSION has been given for 95 new homes to be built by Network Homes housing association at Orion Park in Northfields, Ealing.
Ealing Council last week approved the plans, which will transform a former industrial site into a new neighbourhood of 100% affordable homes and commercial units.
In total, there will be 23 new homes for London Affordable Rent with 72 for Shared Ownership, spread over four buildings.
There will also be commercial space offering new job and business opportunities.
The site is close to Northfields Tube station.
All flats will have their own private outdoor balcony, and there will also be open spaces including roof terraces and a communal garden and play area.
David Gooch, Network Homes’ executive director of development, said the go-ahead supported the association’s aim of starting 1,000 new homes by March 2023.
