FOUR fire engines and around 25 crew were called to a blaze at a house in Myrtle Road, Acton, this morning (8).
Rooms on the ground floor and first floor of the terraced home were damaged.
Crew with breathing apparatus rescued a woman, who was taken to hospital by ambulance. A man was also taken to hospital after inhaling smoke.
The brigade was called at 10.37 and the fire was under control by 11.26. Crews from Acton, Chiswick and Hammersmith attended.
The cause of the fire is being investigated.
