Windfall: cash award will help Gunnersbury Park House and Museum
GUNNERSBURY Park supporters are celebrating after it received £187,795 from the Government’s Culture Recovery Fund, administered by Arts Council England.
A spokesman said it would ensure the cultural and heritage site becomes more sustainable.
More than £1.2bn has now been awarded from the Recovery Fund, supporting museums, West End theatres, grass roots music and more.
Darren Henley, Chief Executive, Arts Council England, said: “It’s a massive vote of confidence in the role our cultural organisations play in helping us all to lead happier lives.”
