FIREFIGHTERS were called to a blaze at warehouses in Brent Road, Southall, on Saturday afternoon.

Part of a single-storey warehouse was damaged, but there were no reports of injuries.

The brigade was called at 3.33 and the fire was under control by 4.28.

Six engines and around 40 firefighters from Southall, Hayes, Heston and Hillingdon were at the scene.

The cause is being investigated by police.
