EALING featured in the last episode of BBC1’s The Apprentice after candidates filmed their latest task on the University of West London campus.
They were at St Mary’s Road to film some of their fishing task, with contestants making use of the university’s Pillars Kitchen, where they were taught to prepare freshly-caught fish for sale.
Business expert Karen Brady watched over the hopefuls as they battled it out to be offered the chance to go into business with Sir Alan Sugar.
It is the latest connection between UWL and this year’s show as Lord Sugar’s new aide, Tim Campell, is a graduate of the Claude Littner Business School and contestant Stephanie Affleck is a former events management student.

SOCIAL work students at UWL raised more than £2,000 to support the charity Refugee Action after throwing themselves into three days of fund-raising across the borough.
They hosted charity days and even did their bit for the environment with an eco-friendly vintage fashion show, usings waste material and repurposed clothes.
