A DIRECTOR’S assistant living in Ealing has been named as a Film London Lodestar, the annual list honouring innovative creators and practitioners across the capital.
The list celebrates those within film, TV and games who are tipped to go on to greater things.
Yazmin Joy Vigus is an emerging writer and director whose short film, Mermaids, recently had its world premiere at the BAFTA-qualifying Underwire Film Festival, where she was nominated for best directing.
She currently works as director’s assistant on a Netflix HETV show.
Yazmin was selected for the BBC Writersroom Cornish Voices 2020-21, to develop an original TV pilot.
Now in its fourth iteration, Lodestars is a marker of industry talent.
