FIRE crews tackled a blaze in Willcott Road, Acton, yesterday evening (24).
Part of a flat, on the ground floor of a converted house, was damaged.
One woman left before the brigade arrived and was assessed by ambulance for any smoke she may have inhaled.
The brigade was called at 10.29 and the fire was under control by 11.06. Four engines and around 25 crew from Acton, Ealing, Park Royal and Hammersmith were at the scene.
The cause is being investigated.
