AN open call for ideas for the Acton and Park Royal Creative Enterprise Zone is being made.

The aim is to support the creative sector in the area and has been developed by Ealing Council and Old Oak and Park Royal Development Corporation, with £100,000 for the most creative and innovative ideas.

The funds could be used for a range of projects, including training, upskilling, events, creative activity, promoting the industry, business support, creating new space or meeting particular challenges.

They can be used to support a new idea or to expand an existing project.

Applicants need to be a public, private, or third-sector organisation or a formally registered body that will work closely with the community and businesses.

If you want to find out more, there will be a networking event next Monday (24), 5.30pm-7pm, at the Woodward Buildings Community Hub, Victoria Road, Acton.

To register your attendance, RSVP via Eventbrite. If you have any questions about the event, email info@opdc.london.gov.uk

Cllr Bassam Mahfouz, Ealing Council’s Cabinet Member for Decent Living Incomes said: “We are lucky to have a great amount of talent in the borough and I was blown away by some of the creations we saw at the CEZ launch last month.

“This is a really exciting opportunity to share ideas, grow a business and deliver new jobs.”
