CHILDREN at Ark Byron Primary Academy in The Vale, Acton, are celebrating World Book Day this year thanks to a donation of new books from the Morrisons Foundation.
The Foundation has partnered with the National Literacy Trust to donate 5,500 books to help inspire and nurture a love of reading for more than 100,000 primary school children.
Rochelle Levine, Community Champion at Acton, said: “It’s great to be able to encourage children to read with their friends, families and teachers.”
