From the 18th-26th March, anyone with a valid National Lottery ticket or Scratchcard can enjoy free entry or exclusive offers to hundreds of attractions across the UK as part of National Lottery Open Week.
From waterfalls and wildflower meadows to the characters and landmarks behind some of Britain’s greatest stories, National Lottery Open Week is a chance to celebrate the start of longer days - and mark the most symbolic moment of new life and hope in the year - with those you love most for less.
TV Presenter, Fred Sirieix has teamed up with the National Lottery to publicise Open Week. He said: “There are many brilliant and unexpected locations to explore during National Lottery Open Week. It’s a great opportunity to spend time with the people you love at a low cost. Now more than ever people are feeling the squeeze financially but still want to find ways to have fun and connect with friends, family and loved ones.
“During National Lottery Open Week players can hunt for waterfalls, picnic in wildflower meadows, walk through a rainforest, as well as discover the characters and landmarks behind some of the UK’s favourite stories. All these amazing places are made possible thanks to the funding raised by National Lottery players, so I would encourage everyone to surprise someone this National Lottery Open Week.”

Embrace your wild side with free entry to the world-famous Eden Project in Cornwall; hunt for waterfalls at the National Botanic Garden for Wales or take a walk through one of 30 RSPB sites.
Discover the National Trust’s Croome Park in Worcestershire with its many historic buildings and diversity of plants from around the globe, check out Mount Stewart and Castle Ward in Northern Ireland, which boasts one of the most outstanding gardens in the world, or take to Cardiff Castle to overlook the beautiful spring gardens of Bute Park.
