CLASSICAL literature is coming to pub gardens this summer, including two in Ealing.
Following the success of Shakespeare in the Garden, Fuller’s is scheduling theatrical performances of Jane Austen's Sense and Sensibility.
A quartet of performers aim to delight audiences at 23 pubs in London and the South. Performances will run for a month from May 10 and tickets can be bought on Fuller’s website.
Sense and Sensibility tells the story of the Dashwood sisters, Elinor, Marianne and Margaret as they come of age.
Nicky Diss, co-founder of Open Bar Theatre, said 2022 was a big year with more performances in more pubs than ever before.
The season starts at the Rose and Crown, Church Place, Ealing, on Wednesday, May 10, and returns to the town on Friday, June 8, at the Duke of Kent at Scotch Common on Friday, June 8.
