IN celebration of the Sikh New Year festival, Vaisakhi, Uxbridge, Southall and Ealing Metro Banks donated essential food and toiletries to the Gurseva foodbank.
Gurseva is a volunteer-led group which helps vulnerable people in the community. It provides hot food, refreshments, clothing, sanitary products and a friendly ear to those who are homeless or in shelters.
“A huge thank you to everyone who donated,” said Southall store manager Jass Sangha. “As a community bank, we want to make a difference to our communities.”
Southall Metro Bank is located at Unit 8, Hayes Bridge Retail Park.
Ealing Metro Bank is at The Townhouse, The Broadway.
Uxbridge Metro Bank is in The Pavilions Shopping Centre, 50 High Street.
