A NEW partnership between West London NHS Trust’s Wellbeing & Recovery College and Brentford FC launches next month as part of mental health awareness week.
The event will be jointly hosted at the Brentford FC Community Sports Trust building, next to the Gtech Community Stadium.
Former Premier League striker Marcus Gayle, who now works as a club ambassador, said: “I think it’s important to let everyone know you’re not alone and hopefully the partnership can encourage a lot more Brentford fans and people to open up if they are struggling.
“It’s so important for us all to talk and empower each other, but also to share and listen as well.”
The Wellbeing & Recovery College is a training and resource centre open to people using existing mental health services, including carers and families.
