PERMISSION for a 462-home scheme in Acton, known as The Castle, has been granted by the Greater London Authority.
Located in the Old Oak and Park Royal development area, The Castle will consist of two towers and 32 storeys on a brownfield site.
As well as the homes, there will be a new site for The Castle pub, which dates to the 1930s but has remained vacant since 2020.
The towers will be close to North Acton underground station, enabling access to central London in 30 minutes.
Developer Tide Construction expects to complete the work in 18 months.
