PARK Royal Open Access Workshop was launched last week (12) by Ealing Council and Old Oak and Park Royal Development Corporation.
The workshop provides affordable workspace for creative professionals in Park Royal, with shared equipment and flexible space to hold meetings and events.
Based in the EX2 studio in Park Royal, the space includes four large work benches, for use at any time.
It will be open for the next 18 months and is available for anyone to sign up, book and use. Those interested in using the space can click here to sign up.
The workshop has been built from pallets and materials used in film sets, supplied by Re-Made in Park Royal, a start-up that connects artists with waste and surplus materials.
Rahul Gokhale, board member of the development corporation, said: “Having been involved in the industrial core of Park Royal for almost 30 years, I’m passionate about [the area] and nurturing the amazing talent here through job creation, training and investment.”
