SCHOOL children threw tennis balls at police and practiced athletics as part of a project aimed at tackling crime yesterday.
Pupils were told about stop and search tactics and the work of riot police, as well as being given athletics coaching by international standard teachers at Perivale Park Athletics Track, in Stockdove Way.
Pupils from Acton High School, Drayton Manor High School, Twyford CE High School, Villiers High School and Featherstone High School all took part.
