DETECTIVES are releasing details of a man they are seeking following a burglary in Ealing in which a 66-year-old woman was physically attacked.
On Thursday, 18 May Police were called to the woman’s home address in Castlebar Park on Thursday, May 18.
She told police that around midday two men had knocked on her door but, when she answered, they fled.
A short time later, she again answered the door to the same men. This time they forced their way in, with one man throwing her to the floor and assaulting her while the other searched the property.
They then escaped without taking anything.
The victim was taken to hospital, where she was treated for severe bruising and swelling before being discharged.
Det Con Mark Gordon said: “This was a brutal attack and one which has understandably left the victim extremely shaken.
“She was lucky not to suffer more serious injuries, but we need to make sure the individuals responsible are unable to carry out similar offences.
“We are very keen to speak to 36-year-old Pawel Krawczyk and would ask anyone who knows him or recognises these images to get in touch.
“He has a number of distinctive tattoos, including stars on the side of his head, and there must be people who have recently seen him. Anyone with information should contact us immediately on 101 or 999 [quoting] 3771/18May.”
One man has been arrested on suspicion of aggravated burglary. He has been bailed to return in late August.
