PUPILS at Alec Reed Academy in Bengarth Road, Northolt, are enjoying the benefits of an award-winning Chelsea Flower Show garden.
The School Food Matters garden was promised to the school once the show closed, and last week it was officially handed over in a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
The honours were undertaken by James Reed, son of entrepreneur Sir Alec Reed, the school’s sponsor.
School Food Matters promotes food education and children’s access to nature.
