DETECTIVES are renewing appeals for information and witnesses following the fatal stabbing of an Ealing teenager by the Grand Union towpath.
Police were originally called around 5.45pm last Sunday (26) to reports of someone in the canal under Scrubs Lane, Kensal Rise, suffering from stab injuries.
A young man was pulled from the water but was pronounced dead at the scene shortly after.
Though formal identification is yet to take place, detectives have named him as Victor Lee, 17, from Ealing. His family has been informed.
Yesterday (30), three youths aged 14, 15 and 17, were arrested on suspicion of murder. They remain in custody.
Det Chief Insp Brian Howie, leading the investigation, said: “I still need to hear from anyone who has information about what happened last Sunday.
“Were you in the area of the towpath near the Scrubs Lane bridge, or travelling on Scrubs Lane, between 5.15 and 6.15? Did you see a fight, or hear anything?
