A FREE school uniform shop, to help families get essential items ahead of the new academic year, has been extended at Ealing Broadway shopping centre.
It follows a successful event in July when thousands of uniform pieces were donated by the community.
From tomorrow (10 to Friday, September 1, while stocks last, the centre is inviting visitors to collect a selection of good-quality school clothing and sportswear for the return to school.
Open every Thursday and Friday (10am-4pm) opposite Smiggle, the Uniform Shop allows visitors to take a maximum of four items and there are no extra donations or payments required.
In July, more than 2,500 school items were donated, including shirts, jumpers, trousers and dresses, saving thousands of clothes from landfill and, instead, going to good homes.
PETS at Home, which is touring the country with a new doggy ice cream van, will be parking it at Ealing Broadway this Friday (11) from 11am-4pm.
Dog owners will be able to pick up a free Frozzys frozen yoghurt, as well as taking advantage of a water station, to help keep pets hydrated.
There will also be experts on hand to help owners find out more about keeping their pets safe and cool in the summer.
