RESIDENTS and staff at Manor Court Bupa Care Home in Britten Drive, North Road, Southall, celebrated Silver Sunday.
It’s a national day when the older generation come together and connect with the community to boost wellbeing and tackle loneliness.
The timetable, organised by activity co-ordinator Joycelyn Morales and her team, featured a sing-along tea party and a roast dinner. Families and friends were there, too.
Silver Sunday was a particular hit for Robert, 70, who said: “I had an amazing day. My mother, sister and best friend Garry were here to enjoy this special moment.”
