DETECTIVES are appealing for witnesses and information following a road accident in Southall, which left a pedestrian seriously injured.
The collision occurred in Uxbridge Road at the junction with Greenford Road at around 5.55am on Sunday (15).
A man in his 40s, was hit by a car while standing at a bus stop. He is currently in a critical condition in hospital.
The driver did not stop.
A man believed to be in the car was arrested nearby on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving. He is now on bail.
Police are particularly keen to hear from anyone who might have dash cam footage or information about the driver.
