THIS year's Halloween attraction on the Racecourse Estate in Northolt was dubbed a frightening success!

Lisa and Jason Cole are well-known in the community for creating a haunted house attraction every year - and this time was no exception.

The family managed to raise more than £450 for Meadow House Hospice.

Jason’s mother, who died of cancer in July, was looked after at the hospice.

Lisa said: “The night went frightfully well! We were pleased to see so many people, of all different ages, come through the haunted house.” Queues formed along the street at one time.

The spectacle featured a candy witch, anima-tronics and plenty of screams from terrified faces.

The couple are already planning to make next year’s celebration bigger and better.

“But now we are in Christmas mode,” said Lisa. “It’s a magical time of the year, with our light display where children will be able to come and meet Father Christmas.”
