ACTORS Laura Aikman, Beatie Edney, Rula Lenska, Lesley Nicol and soprano, Carly Paoli marked the festive season in style at a concert staged by animal welfare charity Mayhew at St Matthew’s Church in Ealing.
With more than 250 guests in attendance, the Mayor, Cllr Hitesh Tailor, opened the evening of music, moving readings and seasonal entertainment in aid of the dogs, cats and communities the London-based charity supports.
Mayhew has seen a huge surge in demand for its services this year, with more dogs and cats coming through its doors than ever before.
The proceeds of the concert will allowing the charity to continue its work.
