A PARTNERSHIP between A2Dominion housing association and The Felix Project food charity enabled 1,500 meals to go to people in Ealing this week.
The initiative took place at the Orchard Café on the Green Man Lane estate, with volunteers helping to deliver, pack and distribute fresh fruit and vegetables, pre-prepared meals and savoury snacks.
A2Dominion also provided clothes, books, and hygiene products to those in need. It chose The Felix Project as its charity of the year for 2023.
The partnership organised many events over the summer, including at the Havelock Centre in Southall.
Adama, an A2Dominion resident in Ealing, who volunteers at the café’, said: “This is something that will help families with their daily food cost and living cost.”
A2Dominion is teaming up again with The Felix Project from 11am next Wednesday (27) at the Orchard Café, Singapore Road. A third event is planned at the same venue on Wednesday, January 3.
