A DELEGATION from Ealing Council visited the University of West London to learn how it is supporting entrepreneurs and to see its innovative work in food science and aviation.
Led by Cllr Louise Brett, Cabinet Member for Decent Living Incomes, the party was given a presentation by UWL’s Westmont Hub team on business start-ups in Ealing.
The visitors also toured West London Food Innovation Centre, the 737 flight simulator FlightPad and concluded with a visit to The Heathrow Exhibition.
The visit builds on the Start-up Enterprise Support for Women initiative, recently launched by UWL and Ealing Council, to help women, especially those from excluded groups, turn their business dreams into reality.
