LONDON Transport Museum is hosting its first Depot Open Days event of the year this month, with a chance to explore behind the scenes of its giant store in Acton Town.
The store contains 320,000 objects not on display in the Covent Garden Museum.
From April 26-28, guests can climb aboard historic Tube trains, see buses from a bygone era, and marvel at vintage maps and signage.
Visitors can also enjoy a line-up of expert talks, tours, craft workshops for families and be entertained by a London busker.
Adult tickets cost £17.50 and £9 for children. Youngsters aged three and under go free.
Concessions are available, including tickets for residents of Ealing, Hounslow, or Hillingdon.
See the full programme and book in advance online on London Transport Museum’s website: www.ltmuseum.co.uk/whats-on/depot-open-days/depot-open-days-london-design
Other planned open days events will take place on July 5-7 and September 19-22.
