SIX teams from West London schools took part in an awards ceremony hosted by educational charity Young Enterprise at the University of West London Ealing campus.
Under the Company Programme, students aged 15-19 run their own business for an academic year, producing and marketing a product or service to sell to the public.
Making a profit is less important in the long run than what students learn along the way about teamwork, communication and negotiation.
Alperton Community School won the Company of the Year accolade. Other schools featuring in the ceremony were Featherstone High School, Southall, Putney High School, Kingsbury High School and North London Collegiate School.
