THREE pupils from Ark Byron Primary Academy in The Vale, Acton, Joey Everett (5), Zoe Bruce (6) and Clara Ong (8), are winners in the Daunt Books Short Story Competition.
Open to children aged 4-15, it receives hundreds of entries from around the world.
Fifteen stories are chosen to appear in a published anthology sold in Daunt Books shops across London.
The winners have been invited to an award ceremony to celebrate the anthology's publication on May 15.
School librarian Jennifer Ong said: “Our children are enthusiastic readers, which plays a huge role in developing their imaginations and vocabulary."
Last year, she also entered children into the Chiswick Book Festival's Young Persons Poetry Competition. Seven pupils won prizes.
