ORGANISERS of the Ealing Half Marathon are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to join the team for this year's event on September 29.
Those who come forward will enjoy the excitement of race day from a unique perspective as they help to ensure the event runs smoothly.
Their contributions are highly valued by organisers and participants.
All volunteers will receive a snack and drinks to keep them energised during the morning, as well as free entry to next year's event and a certificate of appreciation.
Visit the Ealing Half Marathon Volunteer Page on the website to sign up. You can choose from a variety of roles, including marshalling, handing out water, and assisting at the start and finish lines. Individuals, groups and families can be involved.
The event has become an annual tradition in the borough, attracting thousands from across the globe and from all walks of life over the years.
Starting and finishing in Walpole Park, it follows a scenic route through the borough, showcasing its stunning parks, historic landmarks and vibrant neighbourhoods.
There are water stations and spectator zones along the way, while all finishers receive a medal, goodies to eat and, of course, bragging rights for completing the challenge.
Event director Sandra Courtney said: " We are excited to witness the personal triumphs and the stories of camaraderie that will unfold on race day."
