PEOPLE on the Racecourse Estate in Northolt are invited to a summer party hosted by the fund-raising Cole family in Kempton Avenue.

Elvis will once again be on the bill as Jason Cole is an accomplished impersonator of ‘The King’.

A bouncy castle, face-painting, candy floss and snow cones should also keep the children happy at the outdoor party on Saturday, August 10,  from 1pm.

The family’s series of popular neighbourhood events began during lockdown, to help prevent people going stir-crazy.

Lisa Cole said: “Having seven children at home at the time, it was hard to keep them occupied and entertained.

“Jason put on shows out the front of our home, entertaining people with the Elvis songs we all know and love while everyone could be socially distanced.

“We then did one for the Queen’s Jubilee and the King's Coronation.”

When Jason’s late mother became ill and was looked after at Meadow House, the events took on a new meaning as the family was able to raise funds for the hospice.

Lisa added: “We are a very large family, having 14 children in total (eight at home) and nine grandchildren.

“We don't think there is enough in the area for children. So, putting on a summer party for them, gives families something to look forward to.

Last year’s summer party attracted up to 300 visitors and this time will feature on Radio Harrow.
