A SUMMER party for people on the Racecourse Estate in Northolt raised £400 for Meadow House Hospice in Southall.

The event was organised by Jason and Lisa Cole and their family and attracted dozens of friends and neighbours, along with local councillor Miriam Rice.

There was even coverage on Radio Harrow as Jason entertained with his Elvis tribute act. He was joined by an Ed Sheeran impersonator, who has battled cancer himself.

Meadow House was chosen to benefit as Jason’s mum received excellent end-of-life care there.

The enterprising Cole family are already planning their next community event, when they turn their home into a haunted house for Hallowe’en.
