A-LEVEL students at Notting Hill & Ealing High School were centre stage today to receive their grades.

They celebrated an excellent set of results, with 26% of entries graded at A*, 68% graded A* or A, and 94% A* to B.

Five students gained all A* grades. From a cohort of 68, 30 achieved at least one A* result and 28 received AAA or better.

Leavers are going to study a rich variety of subjects next year, including Medicine, Environmental Geography, Artificial Intelligence, Anthropology, Mechanical Engineering, Liberal Arts and Fashion Design.

Headmaster Matthew Shoults said: “These results are testament to the industry and enthusiasm of our students, and the support and inspiration of their teachers.”

Head girl Lewhat Yosief, who will be heading to Durham to read Philosophy, Politics and Economics, said:: “NHEHS has been so supportive throughout the whole of my A-levels and especially during the university application process.”

Some students have excelled outside the classroom.

Ansley Vicars represented GB as part of a rowing foursome in Poland during her A-level exam period and is now in the GB squad currently training in Canada for the World Rowing Championships.

She will be heading to University of Michigan to major in Engineering.

Meanwhile, Natasha Raphael achieved A*A*A while acting in the BBC TV production of Malory Towers and will be going on to study English at UCL.
