YEAR 11 GCSE students at St Augustine’s Priory, the Ealing Catholic Independent school for girls, achieved excellent results, with 43% of all grades at 8-9 and 65% at 7-9.

Head teacher Christine Macallister said: “It has been wonderful to celebrate this academic success with the students, their families and teachers today, hearing how much they valued the dedicated support of our community.”

Lucia, who achieved all grade 9s in her 11 GCSEs, is looking forward to studying Chemistry, Physics and Maths at A-level.

Bella, who achieved all 8s and 9s, said: “The teachers knew just what it took to help me perform to the best of my ability.”

Year 9 students gained their Higher Project Qualification today, with 38% achieving A*/A.

HPQs (equivalent to half a GCSE) are representative of the programme of additional qualifications offered from Year 7.
