HOURS of games and activities for families are being offered across the UK, including at Southall Park, at no cost.
Equipment is provided by Decathlon stores and the charity ParkPlay, with dedicated play leaders using it for family-friendly games.
Two hours of community play are offered every Saturday from 10am at more than 60 locations in the initiative.
Football, cricket, touch rugby and much more are organised by the leaders, with each weekly event being tailored to its community.
There are minimal rules, to ensure people of all fitness levels, age, confidence and ability feel included.
People can register online and then sign in on arrival on a Saturday. Once registered, it’s all that’s needed to attend any ParkPlay nationwide.
Delphine Bouchereau-Mazillier, of Decathlon UK, said: “ParkPlay shares our ambition in making sport accessible and enjoyable for all.
“Following a busy summer of sport, we are thrilled to play a part in offering free games sessions across the country.”
