Fresh from Celebrity Race Across The World, Jeff and son Freddy Brazier unleashed their competitive side once again as they opened Butlin’s brand new £15 million activity center. But it was a long way from South America!
With nine games and activities like Glow Pong, Shuffleboard, Laser Tag, TechPutt, and Digi Darts, spread across two floors, Butlins’ PLAYXPERIENCE in Bognor Regis is the largest of its kind in the UK.
“As a family we’re generally quite competitive and enjoy getting hands-on with activities and games in our spare time, so this was right up our street,” TV star Jeff said.
“Recent research shows the vast majority of Brits love a bit of competition and we’re no different. My mindset is always play to win but it’s important to enjoy the experience and the moment as well; this allows you the best of both worlds.”
New research from Butlin’s shows that more than three quarters (78 per cent) of Brits admit to being competitive with family and friends. Kids don’t always get an easy ride either, as one in five adults (21 per cent) admit they still try their hardest to win even when playing against a child.
“There’s so much on offer with PLAYXPERIENCE and we’ve loved being able to be the first to test out all these new games,” Freddie said.
“It’s always fun taking on my dad and having that competitive element was like being back in the race.”
